The French Office for Immigration and Integration (OFII)
The French Office for Immigration and Integration (OFII) is a French public institution under the Ministry of the Interior (General Secretariat for Immigration and Integration).
Often under specific bilateral agreements, missions concern around three areas, in close liaison with the services of French visa representations (embassies and consulates)
- Family Combinations to foreigners residing in France benefit under a valid residence permit,
- Managing labor migration,
- Assisted voluntary return of migrants to their country of origin,
On the national territory, the OFII offices are present in all major regions of France.
Abroad, regional vocation offices act as a representative.
The Yaoundé office located in the French Embassy has a jurisdiction for the following countries of the sub-region: Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, Nigeria, and Democratic Republic of Congo.
