Official condolences of Cameroon following the Nice attack
Just hours after the bombing in Nice, the Cameroonian authorities at the highest level have addressed the government and the French people their condolences, condemning a "barbaric, cowardly, and odious act that nothing can justify". Cameroonian Prime Minister , His Exc. Philemon Yang, was at the French Residence on Friday, July 15th, to sign a message of condolence on behalf of the Head of State.
Many Cameroonians of all conditions also sent their sympathy and solidarity messages. These sympathizing messages are all the more appreciated as they come from a friendly country that has also been hit hard by terrorism during the past year.
Our thoughts go to all the victims of terrorism and their families during these three days of national mourning.
