50 Cameroonian gendarmes who successfully passed the entrance examination, came to Yaounde on 15 April to attend a motorcycle training. At the end of a week of "pre-internship", 39 trainees were allowed to follow a 4 week-training, until 17 May.
Based on the piloting techniques learned in the French gendarmerie, but also on the theoretical knowledge necessary to control the flow, this training initiates the renewal of all motorcyclists wanted by the Secretary of State for Defense, in charge of the National Gendarmerie. It was dispensed by the French colonel Alain BROSSARD, technical adviser to the Secretary of State for Defense, in charge of the gendarmerie.
This training will be held a second time, from 3 June to 5 July, 2019, for the benefit of 50 other members of the Cameroonian National Gendarmerie.
