Call for applications: 2019 Human Rights Prize of the French Republic [fr]
The French National Consultative Commission on Human Rights (CNCDH) is launching a call for applications of the 2019 Human Rights Prize of the French Republic. It is open to individual and collective field projects until 14 October, 2019.
The Human Rights Prize of the French Republic was created in 1988. It is awarded to individual and collective field projects to promote and protect human rights, regardless of nationality or borders.
Two themes have been chosen for this year’s Prize:
- young human rights defenders
- the duty of brotherhood.
Five prize winner will be selected and invited to Paris mid-December for the official ceremony. They will receive a medal and share a total sum of €70,000 to be used to implement their projects.
