Antiterrorist collaboration : judiciary police training on Sept. 5-16, 2016
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Crisis Center and the Domestic Security Department of the French Embassy in Cameroon organized a judiciary police training on regarding the fight against terrorism on September 5th-16th, 2016 for 15 policemen and 15 gendarmes who might be deployed to the Far North region. The honorary commander Serge Dumont, in office at the Antiterrorist Department, taught along with captain Abdou Chefou, in office at the Antiterrorist Central Department of Niger. Interns have been given practical and theoretical instructions in order to handle an attack and carry out the main police processes in this type of investigation.
Interns have also received training in Emergency First-Aid by a firefighter trainer.
